Ownership first
We want users to understand what they are buying and keep the right to use it without a mandatory monthly software subscription.
Volunteer contributors wanted.
NeoWorks is an independent Windows creative and productivity suite built around a simple belief: software should be something people can buy, keep and rely on — not something they are forced to rent forever.
See where you can help ↓VOLUNTEER CONTRIBUTOR OPPORTUNITIESNeoWorks already exists and is actively being developed. We are now looking for people who believe customers deserve a meaningful alternative to mandatory subscription software and want to help turn that idea into a polished, dependable product.
We want users to understand what they are buying and keep the right to use it without a mandatory monthly software subscription.
Working features are shown as working. Planned features are shown as planned. If something slips, we explain why.
Testing, bug reports, feature ideas and real-world feedback help decide what NeoWorks becomes.
Please note: these are unpaid volunteer contributor opportunities at this stage. They are not employment offers and do not guarantee future paid work. If NeoWorks grows and funding allows, paid roles may be advertised separately in the future.
You do not need to fit a perfect job description. If you can help make NeoWorks better, we want to hear from you.
Help strengthen the suite, improve architecture and solve difficult desktop problems.
Help expand the creative side of NeoWorks with practical editing and design capabilities.
Help make NeoWorks work more reliably with the files people already use.
Help make the suite feel coherent, modern and comfortable to use every day.
Break things on purpose, reproduce bugs and help us turn rough edges into stable releases.
Help make getting NeoWorks onto a Windows PC boring, predictable and safe.
Help explain the product, organise useful feedback and make it easier for new contributors and users to get involved.
Help NeoWorks grow beyond English while keeping terminology clear and consistent.
NeoWorks is not interested in dark patterns, fake progress or shipping impressive-looking features that do not work.
We would rather make the core suite useful and dependable than advertise dozens of unfinished apps.
Stable, understandable solutions matter more than buzzwords or unnecessary complexity.
Volunteer contributions should be optional, clearly scoped and properly credited where appropriate. No one should feel pressured to give more time than they can afford.
If the mission means something to you, start by joining the community, following the roadmap and telling us where you think you can help.
Tell us what you are good at, what part of NeoWorks interests you and how much time you realistically want to contribute.
NeoWorks is currently an independent pre-launch project. Volunteer participation does not create an employment relationship, entitlement to wages, equity, ownership, revenue share or future employment unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.
